"Katie e Josh"

Katie was walking to the streets of London. She’d just left her boyfriend’s flat. Well, now her ex-boyfriend’s flat. In her eyes were sadness but also relief as if their brake up should have happened long before…since when she started to hang out with him, everything in her life was going to spoil: her family, her job, her friendships…immediately she changed, she wasn’t anymore the shy and clumsy girl next the door, but she became someone that also herself wasn’t able to recognise. She needed to stay alone to find herself again and which place is better than Wilmington? There she became famous, but first of all she knew good friends and her first love…

Josh’d just finished to shoot the last scene of his new movie, he was satisfied but very tired and he knew that a simple shower couldn’t help him, he needed to knock off. Why don’t go away for an holiday? It’s what his manager always said…so he decided to go in his favourite place, after Vancouver: Wilmington.

After two days…
Katie’d just arrived to Wilmington, she was going to the hotel where she was going to stay for a week. She took her keys and went to the elevator. When the elevator’s doors closed, Josh entered in the hotel, too…

When she finished to rearrange, Katie went into the elevator but somebody blocked the doors and entered in
J:Sorry…- he looked at the person in front of him and recognise her-…Katie?!?
K:Josh, what are you doing here?
J:I could ask you the same thing…anyway I was tired and I needed to knock off and come back here…
Katie smiled: Well it’s just my same thing! I wanted to stay away to everybody, go do an holiday alone!
J:Do you regret to meet me?
Katie thought that she had to be crazy if she was sorry, her dream became true…Josh and her alone, but now they grow up and their ways were opposite and maybe Josh forgot their beautiful moments together…
K:No, I’m happy! What could I do here alone?
J:So, would you do a stroll with me?
K:Sure!
In the day after this they stayed all the time together, they visited the imaginary house of Dawson, Jen, Joey and Pacey, the school…and the creek, where Pacey and Joey kissed.
One day they sat on a bench and started to talk about their life
J:Can I ask you something? But if you don’t want to answer me, it’s ok…we don’t see each other for a long time…
Katie noticed his embarrass and laughed
K:You’re funny! You can ask me everything…
J:Ok…in all this time did you ever think about us?
K:Well…a little bit…yes…and you?
J:Always…I wasn’t able to have a serious relationship with a woman because I always compare her with you…
K:I’m sorry…I regret how I behaved…I had my boyfriend and I thought that I didn’t need of anyone else and so I went away to everybody but after a while I started to notice my big mistake…I’m sorry because I went away to you…
She seemed sincere, when Dawson’s Creek finished they promised to each other to call and see each other very often but she didn’t call him anymore and he thought that he hadn’t to call her anymore because it was what she wanted…now she was the sweet Katie…he was in love with this Katie and he knew that he did a horrible mistake to be unfaithful to her when they were together, but she offered to him a beautiful friendship, even if I wanted more…
J:It’s not a problem…now we’re her…together…you and me…
They hugged for a long time and then she was cold so he took to her shoulders his coat but their faces were to close. His hands touched hers, he caressed her hair, they looked to each other for the last time before they kissed…it was like to come back to some years before…in Josh’s room, she declared her love to him and then born their beautiful love story…this kiss was very sweet and when it finished, Josh talked first
K:I know that maybe it’s too soon and you don’t want that I say this but…
K:I love you too, Josh…
Those words surprised Josh
K:I know, you are surprised. But I’ve changed and I understood that I must take every chance that my life offer to me…they could be good or bad but the important is to live them…
K:What a sage! And this chance is good or bad?
She pretended to think about it and observed his reaction, she smiled
K:Good…undoubtedly good!- she smiled again and kissed him as se wanted to convince him to those words
J:And now?
K:And now a new life is starting…together…
KandJ:Forever!
They smiled to each other and kissed again…
